Bisque Kewpie Doll, 5 best 1/2 Inches, 1920's

We are pleased to offer for sale this vintage 5 1/2 inch bisque Kewpie doll that we attribute to Rose O'Neil. The figure has beautiful coloring with big black side glancing eyes, black painted lashes, thick, tiny brown eyebrows, cheek blush and a thin red mouth. Kewpie has molded blond hair and blue wings. The piece also has rosy knees. There is vintage red crepe paper around the torso that we didn't want to remove as it looks quite old and it's how we got it. There looks like there are some slight chips on some fingers, but it's almost looks as it could be best the mold. The piece is charming and would be a wonderful addition to any collection.
