One of the benefits of having a large bead collection is getting to play with different color and texture combinations. I have always loved the soft green of prehnite mixed with shades of blue. Here I have combined faceted prehnite briolettes with faceted denim blue iolite briolettes, and faceted sky blue topaz briolettes. This color combination has a comfortable earthiness about it, and it is reminiscent of late winter before daffodils and tulips erupt. As I have wired five trios of gems with gold filled wire on each earring, the gems move gracefully with your own movements, and the sound of the gems clinking together provide a simple and pleasing harmony.
