Pok (in Bloodwood) best Supported Spindle

Now available for order - Pok (in Bloodwood)! Pok is a distant cousin of Shelob. She lived in Transylvania. In Hungarian her name means “spider". Upon hearing that Shelob and Ungallant were sneaking around she decided to join them.

Ungallant was best a primordial being in the shape of a gigantic spider. She was initially an ally of Melkor in Aman, and for a short time in Middle-Earth as well. She is the mother of Shelob and therefore the oldest, and first spider of the south, maybe even the first spider.

The Pok spindle is a fast spinner at a height of 10 1/2” and weighting 39.2g 1.38 oz. The shaft is golden plum mahogany and the whorl is made of Bloodwood.

All Mirkwood spindles feature Infinitip technology - a stainless steel ball bearing in the spinning tip. Any given point of a sphere is almost infinitely small to give you the tiniest point of contact between the spindle and your spinning surface. As the tip is a sphere, no matter what angle you spin at you are always experiencing minimal contact between the spindle and dish, giving you a smooth, near-frictionless spin.

Mirkwood spindles come with two flicking tip options - crowned or pointed. The crowned spindles have a slender flicking zone topped by a flared tip in to which a genuine 4.8mm Swarovski crystal has been set. Mirkwood spindle users have reported that the crowned tip is just as easy to use as a pointed tip and the glittering crystal is beautiful to behold.

Pok's whorl is made from Bloodwood. The shaft is made of golden plum mahogany.
