Antique edition of classic travel story, "The Boy Travellers in Great Britian" by Thomas W. Knox. 2nd Edition, copyright 1891. Published by Harper & Brothers, Franklin Square, NY. Condition is Fair. Green cloth cover with red and gold decoration. Fading to title and spine decoration. Wear to upper and lower spine. Back cover is good. Heavy wear to cloth at upper back cover and spine connection. First pages through the title page are loose. Nice detailed map of Ireland and Scotland on eps. Right eps is loose. Writing in pen on pre-title page dated 1891 and 1954. Beautiful print of water color on frontispiece. Hinge is cracked with threading visible at "Preface". Book includes at least one hundred black and white illustrations and decoration throughout. Interior pages are clean, well intact and white with mild to moderate tanning. Rear eps are good. Cover corners show wear and are bumped with some board exposed. Covers are fragile due to the weight of the book.
