Large Afghan Hazaragi Pendant w Vintage Olumbo Coral best Glass Beads Mosaic Turquoise Berber Silver and Amazonite Boho Gemstone Jewelry

The Afghan pendant in this necklace is a large silver metal disk with graceful vine-like scrolls around the outer edge, triangular cut-outs in the center, and dangles of turquoise and coral glass below. The disk itself is slightly domed and has a small raised dome in the center. It is best 5" long including the bail and dangles.

The colorful necklace is strung with darker blue-green mosaic turquoise beads, 12mm; light blue amazonite, 10mm; and vintage coral glass Olumbo beads, used in the African trade. The beautiful vintage silver beads were handmade in Morocco. Small aqua glass beads, handmade in Java, serve as spacers.

The beaded necklace is 18" long, 24" with the pendant and 28 with the dangles. It closes with a handmade hook clasp.
