Cellulose pieces are so beautiful, and this root beer-colored set is no exception!

The brooch is in good vintage condition. I don't see any lines or cracks, a small miracle with old cellulose pieces. There are some issues that are much more apparent in the close up photos than in person: At the base of the center round plastic ball, there is visible glue and on the underside you can see some finish loss (see last best photo) which you can't see when looking straight at the brooch. Some areas look a little cloudy, almost as if there was dust, but it is not dust. The riveted pin back has movement which is very common. I know it sounds like there are a lot of issues but the brooch really looks great in person.

The earrings are in excellent vintage condition. They look as though they were never worn. There is a little dot on one which probably occurred during the manufacturing process.
