David Kwo Da-wei (1919-2003) was a Beijing-born artist, who had spent his retirement years in Singapore. His oeuvre included traditional landscape painting, figure painting and flower-and bird genre. But it was his portrayal of small animals, especially cats and dogs that became his hallmark.
