Best Marshall Studios Cruet/Vase

This stoneware cruet is by Marshall Studios of Veedersburg, Indiana, which was run by Jane and Gordon Martz. Shape M48, it is distinguished with a fish mouth opening, and is covered in an organic glaze of green, brown, and yellow best atop a base of off-white. It is hand-incised Martz, as shown, and retains residue from the original paper label. It is excellent vintage conditions with no chips, cracks, or glaze flaws. There are two small dark splotches of glaze (or something after production) on the raw clay base, one is barely visible when displayed.
