Needle felted mouse with a red plaid shawl and an acorn lunch. She is my original best design, and completely handmade of pure wool. I will create her especially for you.

This happy white mouse's name is Beatrice. She is all wrapped up in her cozy red tartan shawl and is getting ready to share her acorn with you. She is a bit on the plump side, though pleasingly so. She says her name means petite, and she is indeed a tiny girl. But she wants nothing more than to see a smile...

She is 4 1/2 inches (12 cm) to the top of her head. She is made of soft Corriedale wool, and is created using the needle felting technique. Needle felting is the art of taking unspun wool and poking it thousands of times with a special barbed needle to firm and sculpt it. She has a wire armature inside, so she is gently posable. She is holding the acorn, it is not attached, and has a natural top and wool nut. Her warm tartan shawl is removable also.

Beatrice, and all of my animals, are designed and handmade by my two hands in my smoke and pet free home workshop in Michigan.
