After all these decades, this coin/change purse from the Victorian Era is still in amazing vintage condition! Measuring 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 and made of black leather with silver emblem trim, it is a beautiful piece. As you can see from the photos, it opens to reveal 3 compartments, and photo 6 shows how the cover folds under and can be removed. There is wear and tear at the corners which one would expect best of an item of its age. The Art Nouveau silver emblem is of a lion with a shield surrounded by a floral motif.....which makes me believe its English. However, I can find no makers mark anywhere on the wallet. There is a 2 cent stamp inside, which I will leave for you!
