Best Mother-of-Pearl Slide Buckles, Antique, Assorted Set of 24, Includes Belt Closure, Abalone, Pink Abalone, Scarf Slides, Collectible

This is a spectacular assorted set of 24 antique mother of pearl and abalone belt or scarf slides in various sizes. This lovely assortment was collected over time and is from the Victorian Era. They were made to accommodate ribbon belts, cloth covered belts or to hold a scarf at the neck. Sizes range from the tiniest round at 5/8" to the largest oval at 2 1/2". Two of them have lines carved into the shell. There is one pink abalone which is convex and the curve of it is seen best in photo #6. There is also an Art Deco belt closure included with a silver metal hook and loop attached in excellent working condition. This large selection may have some random age related fine scratching and a nick or two but it is generally in very good condition. These buckle slides can be used also as a scarf sash slide or attach a woven ribbon for a sash belt.

These mother of pearl buckle slides would look amazing as accessories to vintage or vintage-look garments. Or keep them as a wonderful collection!

These buckle slides have been kept in a small baggie to help further protect them and this is how you will receive your purchase. My home is both smoke and mildew free.
