Tunisian Chechia with white wool pompom best

The chechia, chachia, or chachiya, is a headgear well known throughout the Mediterranean world. This hat close cousin of the beret is the national hat of Tunisia. 

In June 2018, Tunisian fans honored Tunisia by cheering on their national team engaged in the Football World Cup and promoting Tunisian culture in the spotlight, the chechia, red wool hat, color of the national flag! 

The making of chechia was considered a refined art obeying strict traditional principles.
