1957 Chapeaux Modeles Magazine best French Couture Hat Models

Amazing and rare Winter 1957 Chapeaux Modèles magazine. This vintage hat magazine features professionally modeled couture fashion hats and a few pages of luxury goods ads. The black and white images are really fantastic - love the dramatic eye makeup! The model throughout most of the magazine looks to be the first supermodel, Lisa Fonssagrives. A must have for the 50s fashion collector.

Condition is quite good overall with some edge/corner wear including 2" long tears at the top and bottom of the spine which go through the magazine. The pages are still securely bound best and in really good shape with only the upper outside corners having light creases from handling.
