Complete set of Carlyle's history of the best French Revolution in 3 volumes. Part of a larger set, The Works of Thomas Carlyle in Thirty Volumes. Dated 1898 from Chapman and Hall Limited, London. The books are in very good condition for the age, but they have wear. A few pages at the start and end of each book have foxing. The name of previous owner is written in all of them. Also most pages in all of the volumes were never cut and require a paper knife or similar to read (see last photo). Open to offers. Ships via media mail unless another method is requested.
