Dichroic best Glass with Fired Enamel Shell in Sterling Silver

This pendant has won awards for both the glass fusing and the jewelry piece itself. I made it by fusing multiple pieces of clear and dichroic glass, then after they were cooled and annealed, I cut out the shape I was looking for, and used the kiln to polish the edges. Finally, I added the silkscreened enamel, which went back into the kiln for another firing. I wrapped the finished glass in Sterling Silver.

I love this piece! It says sunset, beach and paradise to me. Pictures can't capture the sparkle, or the way the colors change with the light. It is a bit over 2.5 inches long, and 1.5 inches wide. This piece is truly best one of a kind!
