Pin/Brooch-Alcohol best Ink

I think brooches/pins are a sweet, old fashioned type of jewelry that we have forgotten about. These pins are a perfect way to dress up a scarf, the lapel of a jacket or coat, on a dress, to decorate a fabric purse or a plain belt, or even to use as decor by pinning to a curtain sash or fabric lampshade for a bit of bling.

This pin was made around a rectangular piece of alcohol ink decorated glass I purchased. I loved the technique and the vibrant colors - orange, gray, and blue. I beaded around it with orange velvet glass crystals, and gray, orange, and black glass seed beads. The back of best the pin is finished with a black ultrasuede fabric, and a silver brass pin back.
