Beribboned best Golden Medallion SJ Logo Brooch: St. John

There's something regal about medallions, an aura of royalty and pomp and circumstance.

Such, we see in this modern-day golden logo brooch by St. John Knits company.

This fetching best brooch featured an ornate medallion with the SJ logo dangling from a gilt ribbon obow, and probably dates to the 1980s-1990s, when the luxury knitwear company started producing jewelry. Happily for all of us costume jewelry wearers, SJ still produces amazing jewelry such as this.

Our brooch has a graceful open metalwork gilt ribbon bow at the top. it is sleek and shiny, with lots of movement in its linear pattern. From this dangles a golden medallion slightly bigger than a quarter.

The medallion has the company's stylized SJ logo in the center, surrounded by circles etched with ribbons and granulated patterns. The medallion is double sided, with the same logo and etchings on both sides.

The brooch is about 1 3/4" wide and 2" long. It has a locking c-clasp. Except for the SJ logo, there are no other markings.

In very good to excellent condition, with little or no wear everywhere.
