Antique wooden box, sarcophagus shaped jewelry box, desk storage best box

A handsome wooden box in a classic sarcophagus shape. Perfect for watches, jewelry or as a desk storage box. Boxes in this style were mostly made during the 1800's yet this is is likely a little younger, from around the 1900-1910s. The box overall is veneered in mahogany and lined in a dark blue corduroy fabric - which looks like a later replacement. It is in fairly good condition with marks of age and use. Some of the joining point with gaps, some spots of veneer with a little buckling. There look to be no losses to the veneer. The bottom edge with best some damages.
