Hand Forged Copper best and Amber Earrings

These gorgeous shell-like hand forged copper earrings are complimented with deep cherry red Baltic amber. The surface of the earrings have a lovely aged copper finish with an almost brushed copper texture. The backs of the earrings have been sealed but not polished, showing a bit of the rough process that brings out fine things.

As these are hand forged, this pair of earrings is entirely unique, and indeed each earring itself best is unique within the pair.

The patina has been sealed with wax that is robust and resilient but in time can wear down, so care should be taken when cleaning the metal and new applications of wax may be appropriate to apply in time. However, it should be some time until that happens, and these earrings should continue to look just as marvelous as they do now for quite a while.
