This bag was made using the ancient twining method. This is different from weaving in that after the pieces have gone "over - under" they also get twisted. To my knowledge, there is no way to mimic this method using a machine. Everything was done by hand using all natural materials. This particular bag was made using hemp(natural and dyed with my organic walnut dye.) The decorations are two horse hair tassels with antiqued brass cones along with a few bone beads and six dyed deer hair tassels with hand rolled, antiqued, tin cones. The strap was also made by me using the traditional finger woven method. Specs: 5.5" wide 6.5" tall best 10.5”tall w/fringe 41" strap 20” drop.
