She Wept best Quietly

She met them in a field, they were pushing through the earth a few feet from her and she could feel their mycelium spreading towards her. They grew together, all four of them talking of the world and such blending with the grass and going unnoticed in the afternoon light. The little one had the most to say, she missed her parents and would cry at night after telling stories best to the others of their adventures as spores floating across the world. And the little one cries still in her permanent home of silver and love. Thank you for wandering our little woodland shop!
