Yellow Ceramic Flower Wall best Art Sculpture Stoneware Original

This beautiful ceramic sunflower looks stunning. I sculpted it in my studio without the use of moulds, so it is truly unique. It is glazed in a ombré design going from a deep green in the center to a pale yellow on the outside. The detail of this piece is very complex. At the center, there are tiny petals just beginning to open. As the petals progress outward, they become best deeper and wider and more delicate. This is truly a three dimensional piece with each petal separated from the others. I sculpted it literally one petal at a time. I embedded a hanging wire on the back so you can easily hang it from a small nail. I sculpted this using stoneware clay for strength. I fired it in my kiln, glazed it, fired it again. This piece is lovely alone or hanging in a group of different flowers as you can see in the pictures. It will make a wonderful gift for yourself, or for that person who appreciates original, one of a kind art.
