Yellow Meadow - best Original handmade watercolor landscape painting

best A small handmade watercolor landscape painting. Inspired by the 2019 Spring super-bloom in California, but not based on a picture or done plein air. Part of a series of landscapes using the extra rough surface of Shizen watercolor paper to create unique textures--this one was especially fun, with a light yellow wash laid down in the foreground and allowed to dry, and then lightly painted over with a "dry brush" effect that allow the "flowers" to remain as the grass was put in. Any of these small paintings would look great filling in some empty corner of your wall! :) Made with 100% cotton paper and top lightfastness-tested paints from M Graham and Daniel Smith.

Note that the paint goes all the way to the edge of the page. Frame/matte not included. It is difficult to get the true colors to come across in the photo, so two are provided to give as good an idea as possible.
