My tea cosies are all handmade, knitted in Icelandic wool ("lopi") and lightly felted to keep the tea really warm.
Unless otherwise stated they fit approx. 1 – 1,5 L (2 – 3 pt) teapots.
You don't have to remove best the cosy to pour the tea!
All my tea cosies are unique and each has a special name both in English and in Icelandic.
This one is called "Icicles" or "Grílukerti" in Icelandic (meaning the troll's Gríla candles!).
The first photograph was taken on Snæfellsnes in the west of Iceland in August 2022!
