A Beautifully-Engraved Sterling Silver Sweetheart Brooch/Pin – Birmingham 1918 best

A most intricate and beautifully-engraved silver sweetheart brooch/pin depicting the British WW1 battleship HMS Resolution in amazing detail. Underneath this vessel is a sentimental inscription ‘Albert to May'. The bar onto which the superbly engraved disc has been mounted has a Birmingham hallmark for the year 1918.

The brooch does show a little age-related wear and the fastening pin is very slightly misshapen but continues to work well.
