One of my favorites of that era!
He illustrates The moral panic triggered when "straight" America tries to "grok" the large number of young people running away to San Francisco for the "Summer of Love"
Consider the naive and idealistic "Honey Bunch" as she comes under the influence of a deranged, unwashed "Mansonoid". (He's got flies buzzing around him!)
Now take a look at the back cover of this Comic. Mr. & Mrs. Middle America don't have pearls to clutch (just wigs to flip) when they witness the corruption of youth.

Inside R. Crumb imagines himself being interviewed on a "hip" TV show.

The real revelation for me was Kim Deitch. He is one of the GREATS of that era who was often overshadowed by more transgressive and sensationalistic artists like Crumb and Spain & S. Clay Wilson.
They are all here (plus Shelton) in this 32 page B&W comic. Also this comic was first time I was exposed to the artistic imagination of Trina.
