1920’s Limoges France Elite Works Cake Or Sandwich Plate,Double Cut Out Handles, Hand Painted Peacock best Design, Signed K. O’Reilly, Dated 1921

This is an exceptional beautiful Art Deco plate. Made by Elite Works, Limoges France, this cake or sandwich plate was made in and signed 1921 with K. O'Reilly being the artist that has signed the back. This gorgeous plate features a very graphic hand painted base design that is truly Art Deco in soft greens, gold, blues and oranges. The key feature to the design is the peacocks - 8 in total - that adorn the edges of the plate. The edging is hand painted gold with cut out handles on either side. Marked Limoges, France Elite Works on the back with artist signature and date of 6.4.21 (please see photos).

Condition: This plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or flakes and no wear to the the design. Looks as though it has been stored in a cabinet since it was made.

Measurements: Width (handle to handle) - 11”, Diameter - 10”, Height - 1 1/2”
