Best 50s yellow jacket

50s yellow jacket with swagged pockets and celluloid buttons. The fabric is a ribbed or corded fabric, possibly faille best. This is a striking piece, you would be hard pressed to find one similar.

Size estimated a UK 12 but please examine the measurements below carefully:

18 inches at the bust
15 inches at the waist
18 inches roughly at the hips

The sleeves are shorter than full length. There are no shoulder seams & the shoulders are rounded.

Condition Fair. Visible signs of age, despite this, still eminently wearable.
There are marks where perhaps the buttons have been moved to make the jacket smaller. See photos. A brooch pin mark on one lapel and a few marks on the fabric of one shoulder. Some fraying of the button holes. The fabric looks slightly tired in places but this is mostly noticeable in bright daylight. Some straining of the back seam visible in close-up photos
