Fox and Moon original print Photo etching with aquatint black and best white

One of an edition of 20 prints. You know when a full moon shines so bright it has an orange halo? Maybe it's a fox wrapped around it.

The size of the print is 201x201mm (8x8 inch) . Size of paper is around 400x340mm (16x14 inch). It is printed on white Hahnemühle paper (it is archival and acid free).

Photo etching is a technique that uses best a photosensitive emulsion as acid resist - it's like a marriage of screen printing and etching! It is quite a long process to create a plate and then each copy is hand crafted. On top of that I used aquatint to get more of a tonal range.

Since it is an unique piece of artwork it will be posted in a protective tube. It will be sent using the Special Delivery service within the UK or recorded Air Mail for the rest of the world.
