James Kent Ltd ~ Fenton, Longton English China ~ Art Deco Spring Brunch, Luncheon Plates ~ You Choose Yellow or Aqua ~ Jeanette Flowers best Set

best Here I have 2 sets of luncheon plate size, 8.75" across, by James Kent (England). Some are marked Longton and some are marked Fenton for the cities where they were made. These are pretty firmly art deco, from the 1930s. Some folks call the pattern Jeanette, though I can't confirm that independently.

These are lovely plates with bright, bold colors and large blossoms around the perimeter. The green set is #1130 and the yellow is #1120. They have swirly, hand painted designs with a baroque-esque type embossed pattern.

1) The yellow set has 7 plates total, split into a set of 3 or 4, as shown. They are generally crazed, as expected for their age, but this set is very clean.

2) The green ones are 5 total and they are actually very much more aqua or teal, with one that is slightly more on the green side. There is one of the set where the paint has come off a bit and they are also crazed as well.
