Product Name: Vintage Terracotta Clay Folk best Art Pottery Aztec Mayan Face Mask Wall Hanging
This amazing terracotta clay face art piece appears to be Mayan, possibly Aztec, in its styling. The mask was sourced from a NC estate. It features a Central/South American man with an elaborate head piece - maybe a warrior or priest. The handcrafted best workmanship is impressive and has elements of having once been painted in blues, reds, browns, orange and black. There are 2 holes at the top which a rope goes through for hanging. Measurements: 11.5" wide, 7.5" tall, 2.5" deep. Condition: This amazing piece of vintage art pottery has some aging as seen in the photographs. There is a small chip on the right hand side "tassel". The left hand side "tassel" has a piece missing.
