An outstanding example of one of the first service sets made by Morimura Brothers with the best intent of export to the West. From this effort came Noritake some years later.
A rare find in that this heavily-gilded hand-painted service set is entirely intact and with no detracting blemishes of any kind, not even loss of gold from age and use.
