'Popsicle' is a painting of a frozen teal wave washing over tumultuous texture. Colors are aqua teal with touches of white and pink over dark purple. The oil paint is carved away to reveal the under painting. Heavy texture.

Created with oil paint mixed with cold wax medium. Each color is hand-mixed and applied in layers with a trowel. The layers are scraped and carved to reveal the background colors, to create texture, and add depth and atmosphere to the painting.

This unframed panel fits into a standard 6 x 8 frame (available at craft, hobby, decor stores) or left unframed and displayed on a shelf or small easel.
