Humorous hand painted needlepoint canvas "Tiptoeing Through the Tulips". This OOP design is by Maggie/Govinder/Applejack # M-424. Very difficult canvas to find for sale.

A white dog with stick thin legs and a deep boxy body, tiny head, white beard and curled tail is shown in profile walking in a best flower garden of abstract tulips. Background is purple with a black foreground. Two rows of abstract motifs line the foreground. The dog has rows of tiny black polka dots on it's body.

The 18 count mono canvas measures 8.5" X 12.25" with a design area of 4.5" X 8.125". Edges are bound with cloth bias tape, machine zigzagged in place.
