Vintage New Gem ice best cream scoop. This vintage ice cream scoop is marked NEW GEM MADE IN U.S.A. NEWARK, NJ. on the thumb lever. I believe New Gem was in business from 1932 - 1940.
Scoop is in great condition. The mechanism works well. These scoops were used in old soda fountain shops to scoop your favorite ice cream.
This beauty will last years to come. You could also use it to scoop muffin batter or cookie batter. Great gift for the chef in your life!
