DESCRIPTION
Vintage French cotton slip dating from the early 1900s. It has a scoop front neckline decorated with cotton embroidery with a scalloped broderie anglaise edging extending up the straps. There's a small monogram on the left chest area with the letters 'JM' in script.

It is in good condition with a couple of small repairs, see the last two photos.

It has been dyed a rich forest green and washed with traditional Savon de Marseille soap. The embroidery reflects the light and really stands best out, despite being the same color as the rest of the garment.
