POTTERY BOWL OPENWORK Vintage Green Yellow Terra Cotta Painted Glazed Ethnic best Signed Kata Ceramic Centerpiece Art Cutout

Vintage Openwork Large Pottery Bowl - Measures approximately 4.5" h x 9" w. Top opening is about 6.25" w. Made of Terra Cotta or red earthenware. Painted and glazed with a mustard yellow background and a veined or mottled green design. Openwork on sides of bowl is rimmed in green. Bowl has crazing in glaze and a few nicks with terra cotta showing through. Barley noticeabe unless looking for them because of design. Does not detract from beauty of bowl at all. Have not been able to decipher artist (if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated!) Looks like it's signed Kata, Kaia or Kala - but possibly something else. There's also writing above signature that can also not be deciphered. Not sure if this is American, European or Middle Eastern. Purchased from antique store. Beautiful, interesting designed bowl for centerpiece with flowers, fruit or very pretty as an art piece on its own!
