An original watercolour done while painting on one of my favourite beaches in Exuma the Bahamas on my last painting trip.

A rocky shoreline frames best the bottom of the scene with 3 sailboats in the distance, along the horizon. A good day for sailing and celebrating life and freedom.

Contrasts of deep turquoise waters against a sky mixed with ultramarine and turquoise colours with a blending of white clouds.
Painting on the beach gives this painting a feeling of in the moment, as the wind changes the cloud and wave movement while I try to capture the scene with my brushes.

Inspired by painting trips to Exuma, the Bahamas, and hoping to return in the future.

Painting is on 140 lb. watercolour paper and is affordable to frame once you receive it.
