This watercolor/mixed media work was inspired by the sight of a lone wolf I photographed at the Wilderness Park Zoo in Frankenmuth, MI. Beautiful and mostly white, she sat sunning herself, twitching her bloodied, bug-bitten ear. The look on her face seemed to say she was dreaming of running with the pack, wild, miles away.
