Rutilated Quartz, White Pearl and Sterling Necklace best

A large, smooth tumbled pebble of rutilated quartz is the focal point of this necklace, wrapped in a complex cage of sterling silver wire that sets off the golden spikes and inclusions inside its smoky depths.

Handmade sterling chain links, each bearing a white freshwater pearl, join the central stone to two large faceted beads of similar rutilated quartz. All are wrapped in sterling wire and ringed with a luminous halo of white oval freshwater pearls.

The chain continues, each link adorned with a pearl, to form a total length of 18," and fastens with a hook clasp.
