Since the 1990s I have been collecting and displaying vintage hats in addition to incorporating hats I purchased and wore during the very early 1980s. I have made changes to my decorating which now prohibits me from incorporating my hat collection so I have decided to make them available to other hat enthusiasts.

This Valerie Modes Peachbloom Velour Hat belonged to my mother-in-law and shows minor wear and tear of it's use during the 1940s - 1950s.

The accompanying photographs clearly identify wear of the hat. Most significant is the fading color of the ribbon. Otherwise the hat is in good condition considering it's age and usage.

This hat has been a part best of my hat collection and was put on display seasonally.
