Israel best Eliat and Solid Silver Large Brooch Vintage 1970's Pin

The most beautiful polished eliat stone, fabulous colours of deep greens and blue. The setting is 925 sterling silver with granular and bobble decoration. Also carries a bale on the reverse to convert to a pendant. Eilat Stone is a gemstone that derives its name from the city of Eilat in Israel, where it was once mined. It is characterized by a green-blue heterogeneous mixture of several secondary copper minerals, including malachite, azurite and turquoise.
