Here is an beautiful unique large antique metal ashtray with matchbox holder, in the style many that Victorian hotels offered in the late 1800's. Similar look to those manufactured at the time by Wilcox or Bradley & Hubbard. It is heavy and looks like polished pewter, however no markings to indicate manufacturer or to confirm materials. Four indentations for cigarettes or small to medium cigars. Upright matchbox holder. Measures approximately 5-1/2" wide, and 5" tall. The opening for the matchbox is 3/4" wide.
