Antique Victorian ca. 1910 chatelaine style double lingerie pins. Hallmarked sterling on the back with makers mark "B" within a star for B.A. Ballou (Providence, RI) first used in 1894. The connecting curb chain is fine yet sturdy. Length of the chain is adjustable to a sweeping double 12" chain or single 19" depending upon the length you need. Measurements are approximate. The brooch pins measure just shy of 1 inch. The backs fasten with "c" clasps that work well. Excellent condition, some best patina on the back with minor surface wear. Would make a wonderful something old for a bride. Use as intended with a lingerie robe, pin on the front of a sweater, jacket or shirt...the possibilities are endless.
