Lavender Mandala Enamel Pendant, Copper Enamel Jewelry Handmade in North Carolina best

The hand-painted enamel earrings are hammered into a best slightly domed shape. The copper shape is carefully cleaned and prepared in order to accept the enamel. I apply at multiple layers of enamel, which is finely powdered glass, first to the back and then the front of the piece. Each application must be fired with a mixed fuel torch or in a 1450 degree kiln and then cleaned before the next layer can be added. This firing process is repeated at least 6 times for the hand-painted designs.

Each pair is painted by hand and thus may vary very slightly.

Dimensions: The third photo shows the size of the piece relative to a quarter. The pendant has a cord of five leather strands and silver-plated findings eith an extneder chain.
