I just rescued this wonderful vintage book from a local book fair!
Original Vintage Cover Boards - "Child-Story Readers Magic Stories"
Not a reprint!

The interior cover pages have been saved. The boards best have been hand cut and hand sanded with the corners rounded.

Interior:
Strathmore Cream Colored Drawing Paper - 80 lb
Hand cut and hand folded.

86 pages
172 pages (counting both sides)

The first and last interior pages are a yellow/green colored Canson paper. The signatures (groups of paper) each have small yellow/green spacers (1/2") - to create the yellow/green color on the spine.

The journal has been hand sewn with dark blue colored linen thread - using a french link stitch - onto tan leather straps. The board underneath the leather straps has been carved away and the leather has been adhered to the cover and stitched with an "x" in matching linen thread.

Please note: This cover shows slight signs of wear from its previous life. This feature only enhances the recycled and vintage nature of this journal.
