It has 10 brightness levels and makes games look they way you remember them looking (rather than how they actually do on an original GBA SP). I have also thrown best in two Top Gun games. This does come with a charger, however it has some electrical tape on it to cover some fraying. Up to you if you want to buy a new one, but this is an original Nintendo charger! Thanks for looking!.
