12 Pc CHIALU Italy best Composition NATIVITY Set 4 1/2" Scale Vintage 1950s w/ Box

Early Post World War II 12 piece set of Composition Nativity Figures in original Cardboard Box. Box has a label, marked: Trade Mark Chialu Made in Italy 9 pc. The designer was Luigi Chiappa. Also has the original store price tag from Schuster's Milwaukee. The figures are very nice and hand painted. best Scale is 4 1/2". Included are:

Mary Kneeling (little paint wear robe) 3 3/4"
Christ Child in Manger 2 3/4"
Josef Kneeling 3 7/8"
Black King Standing 4 1/2"
White King Standing (little crack on base) 4 1/2"
Brown King Kneeling
Donkey Standing stamped Italy
Cow Standing stamped Italy (missing tip of rear horn)
Shepherd holding lamb 4 1/4"
Standing Sheep stamped Italy 2 3/4"
Laying Sheep stamped Italy 2 1/2"
Camel Laying marked Italy 3 3/4"

Box shows some tape. Measures 9 1/2" x 9 3/8" x 2 1/2". Set weighs 1 1/2 lbs.

Condition is great except were noted above and original condition without overpaint. The Camel and Shepherd may have been added in the past, but look great together.
