Description
Gorgeous, deep colors on this 1905 tankard by Jean Pouyat La Ceramique, Limoges, France. This was hand painted with best lush green leaves and ripe red cherries on a ombre background. The artist signed this piece as seen in picture 8. This has a nice thick porcelain base and gold trim around the rim. The inside of this tankard is white and free of stains. This has a handle with a well blended two tone coloring to match the body of this piece. The underside is stamped “J. P, L, France”. This has no chips or cracks.
Measures 5. - 3/8” Height X 4 - 3/8” Wide X 6” Length from rim edge to back of handle
