Large Neck Knife With ‘’Keyhole’’ Handle With Custom Made best Black Leather Sheath and Black Leather Lanyard

This blade started out as a piece of steel that was taken off of a old turn of the century farm plow that was laying around. The piece of steel was cut roughly in half to make it easier to work with. The blade was forged to shape first. The unique ‘Keyhole' shaped handle was created by punching 2 holes at each end of what will become the keyhole. Using a chisel, a line was cut from one hole to the other. The cut was then widened using a bigger chisel until the desired shape was achieved.
It was cleaned up and the best bevel ground in using a angle grinder. The ‘'keyhole'' was refined using a small hand file.
Lastly, a buffering disc and polishing wax was used to get it's beautiful shine, and was sharpened on a belt sander.

The leather sheath was all hand-stitched from start to finish.

A 6 foot long piece of black leather lanyard string is included so you can wrap it anyway you want to fit your personal style.
